Are you set on your christmas mood already? Well I definitly am, so this post is all about the festive December which I wish it could last longer.

HALLOWEEN 2014

This year me and my friend went as an Alien. We made costumes (we bought regular black turtleneck and use old jeans and painted it in alien-like body), we did our makeup, and of course nobody recognized us, and I think that we were definitely the best masks hehe :D I almost forgot to mention that my brother went as a warewolf :) Just like every year, we were partying till early morning and had the best time.

So here are our masks (photos were taken at home befor we went out), what do you think?

PARALLEL UNIVERSE

It's that creepy time of the year, you know, Halloween :) I personally can't wait to dress up in something scary, make jack o' lantern and listen to Monster mash on repeat :) But till then I want to show you photos that I made for college for my Photography class. This time I'm the one behind the photo lens and the model is my beautiful friend Kaja.

The story behind the photos is parallel universe, the spooky unknown world, that looks so much like ours but it's so different on the other hand. 

So I think it's perfect to post this now to create some pre-halloween atmosphere.

DECOR POST: MY HOME OFFICE SPACE

As I promised in my previous post...here is my home office space...

As you can see my wall has a brick pattern painted in red, which me and my boyfriend made and you can see how we did it here. I hate plain white walls so this pattern is perfect. 

On my desk, which is btw made by my dad, you can find a lots of differnt pencils, markers, brushes, crayons, rulers, glues, sketchbooks, ispirational magazines and books, some souvenirs and stuff like that which already serve as decoration, you just need to put it on the right place.

On the left side I have wardrobe (the back it's pretty worn out) which serves as barrier, so the office space is more private. The back of the wardrobe it's white and I enriched it whit round mirror, which optically make space bigger. There's also a painting, a bag and a model of some house (college stuff).

DECOR POST: HOME OFFICE SPACE

Since my senior year at college it's just around the corner, I decided to do a post about home office space. I study interior design, so I like that place where I spend most of my time to do college work looks as good and nice as also functional, with lots of natural light and of course enough space on the desk.

Here are some basic guidelines for ideal environment that encourages creativity and productivity :

1. NATURAL LIGHT (It's one of the most important factors, it reduces eyestrain, headaches and       fatigue)
2. GOOD USE OF SPACE (Get extra shelves and drawers that will provide for better organization of all important documents and office supplies.)
3. GOOD CHAIR (You can invest in a good ergonomic chair or an ordinary chair just incase with a comfortable cushion, just make sure that your torso is upright in a straight line,)
4. PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE (Think about the color, materials, decorations, which will be used, such as. photographs, books, souvenirs. Studies have shown that a pleasant atmosphere in the workroom can be given by plants, so don't hesitate to buy some.)
5.KEEP YOURSELF IN MIND (don't forget about your ideas and wishes, it really doesn't matter what kind of work do you do, adjust your work place so you'll feel comfortable.)
