TWO HOURS IN ROVINJ

Hello! As I write in my previous post, we love road trips, and that's why we didn't went straight home from our anniversary getaway, but instead we went on the other side of Istria to Rovinj. I've never been there before, I always just drove by, so we decided to stop there and walk around this beautiful old town, which is full of little narrow streets, and colorful doors and shutters. On top of the peninsula, is a big baroque church in the Venetian style, and the view from there is amazing.

WEEKEND GETAWAY

Hello everybody! This weekend was really special for me and my bf, we had our 4th anniversary, and we spent it in Opatija in Istria. I was allways fan of this little town by the sea, especially because of its amazing architecture. We were staying in beautiful hotel Bristol, where we were also relaxing in spa and of course eat too much delicious food.

 And since we both love road trips, we didn't go straight home but went on the other side of Istria to Rovinj, but about that in my next post. So stay tuned, and have great start of week.

First day I was wearing:

on second day I again couldn't resist black, so I was wearing pretty much the same outfit except for:

Vintage faux leather skirt,

Calzedonia tights,

burgundy lipstick.

CASTLES AND RIVERS

...so if I continue where I stoped yesterday...

the castle Kostel was fun as I told you :) river Kolpa too and also a beautiful spring river of Krupa. Our trip ended with a late lunc at the great restaurant in Trebnje with really good food and nice owner.

TRIP TO THE SOUTH OF SLOVENIA

My weekend was pretty amazing, we took a trip to south of Slovenia for 2 days, we visited few castles-this is our thing, we love castles, (most fun was the one that isn't even open due to remodeling but we managed to get in climbing over the fence and up the hill and went in through little window, hehe).

 We were in the land of forests-Kočevje, where we also stay for the night. It's pretty cool town, with wooden bears all over, river coverd with water lilies, amazing mighty church, the lake and the bar Ribič next to the lake where we sat on the porch for a few hours, drink and watch the lake...pretty romantc, right?

I almost forget to mention: the backpack that you see on the pictures above is from Egypt and I bought it at garage sale in Škofja loka just befor our little trip started. I loove it, the colors, the print...everything about it, and it's big enough for all my things that I carry around :)
